Misperception

Album · 19 June 2026 · 12 tracks

Misperception explores unstable identity, distorted recognition and the uneasy distance between what is perceived and what is real.

Across twelve tracks, Misperception follows a gradual collapse of certainty. Familiar people, voices and situations remain recognizable, yet small inconsistencies begin to undermine the idea that anything is exactly as it appears.

The album moves through altered memory, doubles, hidden observers, internal voices and the fear that perception itself can no longer be trusted. Its central tension lies between the need to confirm reality and the growing suspicion that confirmation is no longer possible.

Musically, Misperception expands Zlurad’s guitar-led gothic rock and metal framework through longer, layered arrangements, a doom-influenced atmosphere and deep baritone vocals carrying the album’s psychological weight.
